CHAORDISM
is an Istanbul based audio visual label founded by Häkan Finn in June, 2008. As the motto says, we are trying to reveal the music in you, the music in us... We are looking for the people who are like you, people who has an ability to create something into the world we live in, something which has a meaning for some other person, which triggers different feelings, or which makes a person stop and think about...

Shortly the aim of the label is to find out and promote distinguished electronic music artists who are looking for an opportunity to release their music works. Additionally, we are looking for digital artists to prepare some visuals and music videos. If you would like to share your works with us, please send them to us.

HÄKAN FINN
  • Häkan Finn, born in 1978, started to produce music in 00's inspired by tunes of Farben, snd, and some minimal german label sound such force, kompakt, mille plateaux, scape, perlon, trapez etc. Basically, the story started the aim of producing house music but couldn't (he says). In every attempt he found himself in different place. Than began to play with samples in experimental ways. Sampling process is the major entertaining part for him rather than the result. Thats why he defines himself as a collage maker not producer.

    He writes music based on a concept that affects the result. Deconstructivism Ep is the one of the characteristic work of Häkan Finn. Thinks that "every sound has its own image". Thus, he designs his covers and videos by himself. He also has different projects for other styles such as Sén Volt, Globus, ESHIOI and Mufinn collaboration with Automatte (aka Auch).

Chaordism proudly presents Häkan Finn's new project, Sén Volt. Opposite Finn's well known minimal experimental style, ambient sounds with modern rthyms, strong kicks, melodic chords and pads harmonically blended to each other that positions Sén Volt as a contemporary example for maximal bright house sound. We are sure that you are gonna feel the optimism and "alegria" and get in the mood with Sén Volt's "In The Mood" at the very first moment.

Finn brings up an remarkable collage merging minimal, microhouse, hip hop, glitch, and dub in a fascinating style. The sounds used in the creation of this record are definitely deconstructivist and microsound influenced: clipped synthesized drum hits, seemingly out of place melodic stabs, and interrupted harmonic elements that clearly ordered into highly rhythmic and melodic frameworks. Little things certainly mean a lot on this ep. In this way, Each component placed in such a way for maximum effect and memorability.
